Patricia (Trish) King, PT, PhD, FAAOMPT is Professor & Chair, Physical Therapy-Tennessee State University in Nashville TN. She is a physical therapist and medical anthropologist with background in public health. Teaching topics include patient education, psychosocial aspects of health, research, and orthopaedic manual PT. Trish is recipient of APTA’s Lucy Blair Award, AOPT’s Gould Award, & Academy of Pelvic Health’s Elizabeth Noble Award. Current professional service includes APTA TN's Nominating Committee, AAOMPT Practice Affairs Committee, President-Health in Appalachia Museum, co-Editor, Manipulation Education Manual. Dr. King is a Founding Fellow of AAOMPT. She currently practices PT in Nashville & Knoxville, TN.
