The Coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID -19) has had an impact across the globe, in which people are concerned about its long-term impact on mental health. Recent studies suggest that COVID-19 has created an increase in anxiety and depression symptoms across various populations (Xiong et al., 2020). COVID-19 and the state mandated quarantines made access to care a challenge (Xiong et al., 2020; Kumar & Mayar 2020). The delivery of mental health services via telehealth became an essential tool in providing services to ensure safety and continuity of care. Not all communities experience equal access to care before, during, or after the pandemic, and telehealth is not a panacea for solving existing inequities in our healthcare system (Schroeder et al., 2021). Rural-residing, minoritized individuals, and Spanish-speaking individuals face additional barriers of stigma, culture, and language which must be addressed (Haack, Kapke, & Gerdes, 2016; Myers, 2019; Snowden & McClellan, 2013). The RE-AIM framework from implementation science, which has been used in over 2800 publications (Glasgow, 1999, Glasgow et al., 2019), will be used in this poster to examine a telebehavioral health program which has worked with underserved communities for the last thirteen years. In line with the RE-AIM framework, the poster will explore and explain Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance elements of the telebehavioral health program. The discussion will focus on the future delivery of evidence-based telebehavioral health services in times of crisis for minoritized and underserved populations.
