Kirsten Forseth, MPH is an Associate Director on the Drug User Health team at NASTAD. Kirsten leads technical assistance and capacity-building to state health departments and community-based organizations through the National Harm Reduction Technical Assistance Center. Prior to NASTAD, Kirsten worked to increase access to harm reduction services at the state and county health department levels in Maryland, where she supported the expansion of overdose prevention and naloxone distribution projects statewide and led the implementation of a local syringe services program. Kirsten holds a master’s degree in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a B.A. in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford.
