Laura Maroldo is a certified Physician Assistant and HIV specialist. She is a graduate of Touro College. She joined West Midtown Medical Group in 1994. As the Chief Physician Assistant, her role is split between clinical management of patients and administrative duties. Her clinical career has focused on Addiction Medicine and HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C in the PWID population.

She has held a number of positions within industry leading Medical Affairs and US field medical teams focusing on HCV and HIV/AIDS. She has had numerous papers presented at National and International conferences as well as published in journals. The majority of her research has focused on HIV drug resistance and management.
