Teri Morgan-Urie, CADC II, Program Director at Springfield Treatment Center, an MAT provider offering innovative and robust interventions along with medications to address Opioid Use Disorders and complex addicitons. I have been involved in the recovery community for many years now, working as a CADC since 2016. I have overcome addiction, homelessness, domestic violence, and criminality and have been drug and alcohol free since 2013. I am involved in Community Outreach, Education and Prevention, and I share my story while participating in political advocacy at the local and state level as co-chair of Oregon Recovers. I have helped organize and present at the Recovery Community Summit in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 and the Walk for Recovery statewide in 2019, 2020 and 2021. In 2019, I was the first recipient of the “Community Advocate” award presented at the annual Community Service Awards breakfast in Lane County, Oregon.
