Ryan currently serves as Colorado’s State Opioid Treatment Authority, within the state’s Behavioral Health Administration, validating licensure for the state's Opioid Treatment Programs, collaborating to expand access to care and improve health equity in the state of Colorado. Receiving his masters in Education from the University of Missouri, Ryan is a licensed professional counselor and licensed addiction counselor, with thirteen years’ experience in the behavioral health field, ranging from direct clinical care, system leadership, and regulatory oversight. The values that drive his work are compassion, justice, and advocacy.
