James Anderson PA-C, MPAS, has been a Physician Assistant since 2000, and has spent most of his career working at Evergreen Treatment Services, an Opioid Treatment Program in Seattle. He has built his career on speaking and writing about OUD, social justice, racial and other health disparities, and health equity. He led a workshop about PAs in OTPs at the 2015 AATOD Atlanta conference, and has also presented three posters at AATOD conferences, with his most recent at the 2019 Orlando conference. James also writes about addiction, disparities, and racism for the Clinical Advisor publication, and is the current president of the Society of PAs in Addiction Medicine of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
