Director of Clinical Operation Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc. Plainville, Connecticut
Learning Objectives:
At the completion of this activity, participants will:
Describe the challenges the fentanyl epidemic presents for various populations, agencies and service communities.
Evaluate the sufficiency of current collaborative structures for effectively addressing the fentanyl epidemic.
Modify current intervention systems in order to establish the means for a progressive amelioration of the fentanyl epidemic.
When confronting the tide of fentanyl in our communities, it is essential that there be a focus on an expanding collaboration in order to turn this tide of fentanyl’s deceptive and destructive force. There is a vital need for greater inclusions and investments in the available experiences, perspectives, ideas, and timely communication of our concerned communities. The social influences of governing entities, policy development, education, case management, faith-based resources and widening array of interagency and interpersonal alliances, all need to be woven into the strong, yet flexible, life-saving cord of our collective resources.
