This hot topic discussion addresses the actions taken in building an effective collaboration between law enforcement and treatment to create a common mission, common language, and a single vision to maximize patient outcome. Starting at the leadership level with program and process reviews, progressing to the direct service staff and street level officers, we will discuss actions to improve implementation and participation by both police and treatment staff to maximize outcomes.
