At the completion of this activity, participants will:

Define the principles of effective integrated primary- behavioral health- addictions care.
Understand the elements to implement a comprehensive coordinated system of care for those with OUD.
Review strategies to address factors that may reduce barriers for patients with OUD access to comprehensive health care.

Presentation Summary: University of Illinois Mile Square Health Center (UI-MSHC) in Chicago and Family Guidance Center (FGC) have developed an integrated Primary Care-Behavioral Health-Addiction program within the community health system. This collaborative model offers access to comprehensive behavioral health and MAT services in the primary care clinic. The MAT program includes all three of the FDA approved medications, methadone, buprenorphine/naloxone, and naltrexone for those patients with OUD. This presentation will delineate the development and integration of the model and assist workshop participants with protocols to replicate in their clinics.
