Identify community assessment tools used to detect barriers and gaps in OUD treatment services for pregnant women
Distinguish key stakeholders needed to address community disparities related to OUD treatment in pregnant women
Define the process for framework development of a community collaborative model of care for treatment of OUD in pregnant women
For My Baby and Me (FMBAM) is an innovative, collaborative opioid treatment program for pregnant women and new mothers. Designed to overcome existing barriers to access and care for this population of patients, this unique design builds on the individual strengthens of community organizations and weaves together a comprehensive fabric of supportive and wrap-around services for pregnant women with opioid use disorder. The poster presentation will describe the program design journey, review programmatic maternal/fetal outcomes and discuss how communities can come together, assess their assets and challenges and implement this scalable, reproducible model of care and treatment.
