Volunteer at the Conference
The AATOD Conference would not be successful without the help of its volunteers. Volunteers are needed for various areas and events, including the welcome reception, plenary sessions, exhibit, poster sessions, workshops, general meeting areas, main hallways, awards ceremony, conference meetings, and much more. If you are interested in volunteering at the conference in exchange for some wonderful opportunities, please complete the application form.
Benefits of Volunteer Services:
- Seven hours (7) of volunteering allows you to attend the entire conference at a flat rate of $400 (the regular registration rate is $650)
- For each full day you volunteer, you may attend the conference free on another day.
- Continuing education credits can be received for an additional fee. We will offer education credits for addiction professionals, counselors, nurses, physicians, and social workers.
- Volunteers will receive a certificate of participation and a free volunteer conference uniform.
- Volunteers have the opportunity to be behind the scenes and interact with VIP guests and attendees.
- Volunteers will be provided a lunch allowance for a full day of volunteering.
- All volunteers must attend a mandatory training session, which will be scheduled virtually prior to the conference. At that time, you will tour the hotel and be trained for your specific volunteer assignment.
