Trauma-informed care includes recognizing, evaluating, and responding to traumatic stress. As scientific knowledge of the physiological impacts of trauma expands, there are corresponding practical applications to promote health and resilience. This session will break down the elements of trauma-informed care and create a map for implementation in the pediatric setting.
