Congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV) is the leading viral cause of hearing loss and neurodevelopmental disability in children. Data show a need for primary care pediatricians to identify and treat cCMV. This session will discuss the pediatrician’s role in the timely assessment and treatment of infants with cCMV.
