Faculty will present a compelling case for pediatricians to advocate for the health of Black and Indigenous pregnant people. Attendees will prioritize changes to pediatric practices that optimize postpartum health. Mitigating persistent inequities in postpartum outcomes may help address the historical and ongoing racialized inequities in U.S. infant mortality rates.
