S4512: What’s Up for Down Syndrome? New Guidance for Pediatric Care

This session will summarize basic guidance and important changes in the updated AAP clinical report on the care of children with Down syndrome. Topics will include talking with families, prenatal diagnosis, appropriate genetic studies, new laboratory studies, sleep and behavioral problems, and co-morbidities, including autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and anxiety.
