This session will describe injury, safety, and maltreatment trends in children with disabilities, and community factors and social determinants of health that influence these trends. The session will explore types of injury or unsafe behavior, including drowning, wandering, elopement, and abuse/neglect , and will review appropriate anticipatory guidance and prevention strategies.
