Stressors experienced by parents, such as trauma and substance use, threaten safe, stable, nurturing relationships (SSNR) and thus child resilience. Faculty will review neurophysiologic and hormonal underpinnings of parenting and the impact of stressors. Attendees will receive practical tools to support SSNR in the setting of parental trauma.
