Faculty will discuss the current public policy landscape on gender-affirming care as well as the impact on children and families. Examples of successful strategies to oppose state efforts to weaken protections for transgender/gender-diverse youths and that criminalize treatment for these patients and resources to make a difference for youths and their families will be shared.
