S2210: Communicating Vaccine Science

Vaccines are so successful that younger parents have never seen the diseases they prevent, leading to misperceptions that vaccines are not needed. Additionally, anti-vaccination sentiment and misinformation have increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. This session will provide practitioners means to discuss vaccine importance and the science behind vaccine development.
