Dr. Mendoza is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Viriginia and a Pediatric Hospitalist and Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Officer in the UVA Children's Hospital. She serves as a Global Health mentor to the collaborative inter-departmental Global Health track at her institution and is on the Steering Committee for the Global Health Learning Community under the Association of Pediatric Program Directors.
