Postpartum Support International increases awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that parents experience during pregnancy and postpartum. PSI provides direct peer support to families, trains professionals, and provides a bridge between them. - Free parent services include: HelpLine, peer mentors, online support groups, local and specialized Support Coordinators to help parents find care. - Resources for professionals: Trainings and certification, awareness materials for clinics, the Perinatal Mental Health Alliance for People of Color, Perinatal Psychiatric ConsultLine for medical providers, and more - Advocacy efforts include the Mind the Gap campaign, in coalition with partner organizations across the U.S. Pediatricians and family doctors meet parents at a critical stage for perinatal mental health screening; we encourage you to make use of PSI tools and resources for your families.
