Evidence suggests pediatricians can take specific approaches during anticipatory guidance and high-risk circumstances to maximize firearm injury prevention efforts. This session will review current legislation, barriers to and benefits of counseling about firearms, and what to ask, how to ask it, and what to do with the answers.
