Historically, school vaccine mandates have been an effective strategy to maintain high childhood vaccination rates. However, including COVID-19 vaccines in school mandates is controversial. This session will explore criteria that would justify school COVID-19 vaccine mandates, whether those criteria have been met, and how processes surrounding mandates could reduce or perpetuate inequities.
