Kyo was founded in San Francisco, CA in 2005 by Melissa Willa and Colin Davitian, under the name Gateway Learning Group. As a BCBA and former special education teacher, Melissa was inspired to start her own company, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children with autism and developmental disabilities. ABA is widely known as an effective treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and research indicates that the science of ABA may have great benefits to physicians working with children with ASD in their practice. 

Our self-guided and interactive training program, "Autism, ABA, & Pediatrics: Deepening the Connection", supports pediatricians and pediatric residents in: 

-Becoming more fluent in the science of ABA
-Speaking confidently about ASD and ABA 
-Utilizing ABA to support improved clinical outcomes for their patients
