Kendamil

Kendamil is a family owned and operated infant formula brand which is manufactured in a facility in the British Lake District which has been specialising in the production of formula for over 60 years. Kendamil is the only British infant formula and is uniquely made with liquid whole milk from local farms, lactose, DHA and ARA from plant-based sources and prebiotics in the form of oligosaccharides, GOS and FOS. Kendamil's unique use of liquid whole milk means that the formula range includes natural MFGM and HMOs, which are linked to immune protection and cognitive development. The use of whole milk and lactose also allows for Kendamil to entirely avoid ingredients like palm oil, soy, corn syrup and maltodextrin. Kendamil has a range of formula made with cows milk, organic cows milk and goat milk, all of which meet both the US and European standards for infant formula for babies aged 0-12 months. 

Although new to the USA, Kendamil is distributed in over 40 countries across the world and has been the sole source of nutrition for millions of babies. Kendamil is the fastest growing infant formula brand in Europe and has amassed many awards for its product quality, voted for by healthcare professionals and parents alike. The brand has won the Grand Gold Monde Selection, the Queens Award and a host of parenting awards including Gold at the MadeForMums and Mother&Baby awards shows.

Kendamil has been working on US market entry for over 5 years and has actively engaged with the Food & Drug Administration to ensure that it complies with all entry requirements required for new brands, including the completion of a clinical trial. Kendamil was expected to arrive in the USA in 2023 based on the initial completion date of the clinical trial but this was expedited due to the ongoing formula shortage in the USA. Kendamil was the first international manufacturer to be approved by the White House and the FDA to be imported under Operation Fly Formula and is now listed in retailers nationwide. Reviews and testimonials from parents have been overwhelmingly positive and Kendamil expects to become available in more retail stores in 2023.
