To promote maternal and child health, NICHD leads, funds, and participates in research and outreach activities, including: Safe to Sleep®, to educate people about ways to reduce infant deaths; and PregSource®: Crowdsourcing to Understand Pregnancy, a research project to learn about pregnancy directly from pregnant women. Visit us to learn about these and other maternal and child health research and activities, including Moms’ Mental Health Matters, Pregnancy for Every Body, and COVID-19 research in pregnant and lactating women and children.
