IUVEO: Information for the Evolving Teenager (iuveo.org) is a new website designed to help empower teens to communicate with their health care providers, take an active role in their health care, and better understand friends with medical conditions. The website provides educational information, videos, and question prompt lists that teens can use during medical visits to become better at managing their own health. IUVEO features a library of 13 topics important to teens such as asthma, diabetes, seizures, depression, bullying, ADHD, smoking and vaping, STIs, and stimulant misuse. IUVEO was developed by a team at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research and the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Alexor LLC, and two teen advisory boards. This website was funded by The Duke Endowment and The Eshelman Institute for Innovation. IUVEO is a free resource for your teenage patients. Please consider sharing our website link on your practice page, and providing it to teens. Visit our website iuveo.org and stop by our booth to learn more!
