Chelsea Brown, MS, DDS was born and raised in Maryville, MO. Chelsea spent much of her childhood in her father’s medical practice, and watching him care for their community sparked her interest in healthcare. Chelsea completed her bachelor’s degrees in chemistry, liberal arts, and psychology with a minor in biology at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. During this time, Chelsea provided child care at Berkley Child and Family Development Center and volunteered her time at Children’s Mercy Hospital. These experiences solidified her interest and dedication to serving the pediatric population. Chelsea obtained her Masters in Biomedical Sciences at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She then returned to UMKC to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Chelsea is a current PGY-2 resident at the Springfield, MO site of NYU-Langone. She welcomed her first child in May 2021. Chelsea loves spending time with her husband, baby boy, and adopted standard poodle. They love staying in, cooking in the kitchen, and watching a movie or binging one of their favorite shows. Self-proclaimed foodies, they also enjoy traveling and trying new restaurants.
