This lecture will cover care of the children with special healthcare needs (CSHCN) through the lens of neurodiversity. Drs. Nelson and Webb will explore epidemiology of oral disease in CSHCN, key medications and diagnoses to be aware of when treating CSHCN, pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies for successful visits with this patient population, and team-based interdisciplinary dental care.
