Stanford R. Plavin MD is the founder of Ambulatory Anesthesia Partners LLC, an outpatient anesthesia practice focused on delivering the utmost in high quality individualized patient care experiences in the ASC and office- based settings. The practice is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2019, Oral Surgery Anesthesia Associates was created to provide a dedicated team of physician anesthesiologists committed to providing complementary anesthetic care to the adult and pediatric oral surgery patient populations. The practice also serves many dental practices including all their specialties in both office based and ASC practice locations.
Dr. Plavin is a practicing anesthesiologist who has over 24 years of clinical experience. In addition to co-authoring several publications, he continues to be active in clinical research as well as other academic and patient centered entrepreneurial activities. Over the last few years, he has worked with two prominent corporate anesthesia groups providing not only clinical excellence and leadership in the hospital and ASC realm but also engaging with key stakeholders to improve deliverables as well as implementing process improvement protocols.
He has also devoted himself to a few charitable endeavors including being one of the co-founders of Preventingcolorectalcancer.org. He continues to be actively involved in the ASC community and just recently completed two terms as a board member of ASCA; a non-profit organization which is committed to the surgery center community and its core values.
In addition to maintaining a full-time clinical practice, Dr. Plavin provides his expertise and experience through Technical Anesthesia Strategies and Solutions; a company focused on improving outcomes for patients while incorporating technology in a meaningful manner while offering guidance and advice to stakeholders in the anesthesia and perioperative communities.
Dr. Plavin is married to his wife Tally for 28 years and the two of them have two children and maintain a home in Atlanta, Georgia.
