Dakota Peterson, MD is a first year pediatric resident at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in the Pediatric Advocacy, Leadership, and Service track. She attended medical school at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. She is proud board member of A+ Schools Pittsburgh and is passionate about closing health equity gaps for children and adolescents in her community. When she is not in the hospital you can find her playing kick ball with her co-residents, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers/Penguins, or enjoying live music and local breweries.
