Dr. Lauren Murphy is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology, practicing as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine & Medical Toxicology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She has enjoyed speaking regularly on core toxicology topics at emergency medicine residency programs, as well as a number of physician assistant, pharmacy, and emergency medical service schools. She has participated in national case conference presentations for American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT), and presented a moderate poster and lightning oral presentation at national toxicology symposiums (ACMT and NACCT). She has also presented on toxicologic, occupational sources of peripheral neuropathy internationally through a virtual lecture series with Thailand, organized by the Oregon Health & Science University Global & Occupational Health program. She studies with particular interest toxicologic confounders of brain death, lab interferences, and natural poisonings.
