Andrea Kaelin MD, FAAEM, RDMS is an active duty Air Force Emergency Physician with multiple international deployments since her 2017 matriculation from Ultrasound Fellowship. Dr. Kaelin is faculty and an Ultrasound Director at the Wright State University EM Residency, she hopes to encourage broader ultrasound education at graduate medical training level. Improving world access to diagnostic imaging through global health efforts and ultrasound education is her passion project.
Her superpowers include sparing patients from radiation whenever possible and teaching the most novice user how to improve patient care with ultrasound. When not covered with ultrasound gel, inspiring young resident minds, or caring for patients, her hobbies include travel, horseback riding, and trailrunning.
