Erick A. Eiting, MD, MPH, MMM, is a tireless advocate focused on improving care and access for vulnerable patient populations. He is currently Vice Chair of Operations in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Downtown in New York City, where is also Medical Director for Quality at the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery at Mount Sinai. He serves as Co-Chair of Committee to Eliminate Healthcare Disparities for the Medical Society of the State of New York and President-Elect for the New York County Medical Society. He is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He served as a Vice Chair the AMA Advisory Committee on LGBTQ Issues and on the Board of Directors for Physicians for Criminal Justice Reform.
