Dr. Moayedi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. He has served as the Director of Medical Student Education at the Mercy Campus since 2004. His academic interests include medical student education, difficult IV access research and invasive medical procedure education. He has authored chapters, edited books and lectured internationally on medical student and procedure education and is the Director for 4 CME procedure courses. Since 2015, Dr. Moayedi has been a member of the Education Committee for American Academy of Emergency Medicine focusing on small group procedure courses at national meetings. He has been splitting his clinical time between Emergency and Hyperbaric Medicine since 2015.
