Mari Siegel, MD FAAEM FACEP is an attending physican at Temple University Hospital in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medcicine, Section of Palliative Care, in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Siegel trained in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine and is also boarded in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She practiced Emergncy Medicine primarily for over 10 years, and now divides her time between working in the Emergency Derpartment and on the inpatient palliative care service. She is passionate about providing quality end-of-life care for patients in the ED, and loves to educate EPs about palliative care topics. Dr. Siegel has lectured at many national and regional conferences, and frequent gives grand rounds on palliative care in the emergnecy department. She also co-founded the AAEM Palliative Care Interest Group. In her free time, she is an avid dragon boat paddler, and loves to cook, travel and ski.
