Dr. Gatz is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Assistant Medical Director of the Adult Emergency Department. He previously completed an administrative fellowship as part of his chief year and is completing ACEP's ED Directors Academy. His administrative interests include quality and patient safety. His academic interests include spinal cord injury and the management of solid organ transplant recipients in the ED.
