Dr. Malia Moore is an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and joined Indiana University Emergency Medicine program as a faculty member in 2020. She graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2013, and she completed residency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in 2016. She served 7 years as an active duty Army emergency physician with combat experience, and for 4 years as a simulation director and 2 years as an associate program director before transitioning to the civilian sector. Currently, she serves as Associate Director of Simulation Education in the Simulation Medicine Division. Her clinical interests include residency and medical student curriculum development, feedback in medical education, novel approaches to pain control, and medicolegal topics, and she has presented regionally and nationally on this subject matter.
