Dr. Joshua Guttman is an assistant professor and the ultrasound fellowship director at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He was born and raised in Montreal Canada and completed medical school and residency at McGill Universty where he was chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in emergency medicine ultrasound at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. Dr. Guttman is an AAEM emergency ultrasound section board member, through which he founded and is course director for the AAEM “Unmute your probe” virtual ultrasound series. Dr. Guttman also serves on the emergency ultrasound fellowship accreditation council. Dr. Guttman is an author on multiple book chapters and review articles on both POCUS and other Emergency Medicine topics. In his free time, Dr. Guttman is an avid Pelotoner, Montreal Canadiens fan and spending time with his 3 young children.
