Hemophilia: For the Love of Bleeding. Managing Hemophilia in Your ED

Hemophilia is one of the low prevalence high-risk diseases. The EP should be able to think on their feet stabilizing the patient immediately. In a simplified, easy to recall way, I cover the basics of hemophilia, management, treatment options. I talk about important points for those on newly FDA-approved prophylaxis "Emicizumab" and how that changes management. Many patients who are on factor prophylaxis are switching to Emicizumab, and this will affect how we care for them in the ED.
