53 year old M presented to the ED with inability to move his lower extremities with numbness and tingling to his hands and legs with associated facial numbness. He also endorsed chest pain and "tearing back pain." He decompensated with bradycardia and hypotension, suspecting Aortic Dissection, patient taken to CT scanner, however found to be in acute renal failure due to rhabdomyolysis. He had associated BRASH Syndrome and the rhabdomyolysis was a result of the patient using his wife's MS medication, dalfampridine, believing this was a steroid to help him build muscle mass.
