Minority groups face higher odds of chronic diseases, increased medical complications, and worse outcomes. One way for physicians in training to learn how to provide culturally sensitive care is through simulation. There is a scarcity of peer-reviewed literature investigating High Fidelity Simulation (HFS) and Cultural Humility (CH). The objectives of this study are to (1) evaluate what proportion of Emergency Medicine (EM) residency programs and general simulation centers use HFS to teach CH and (2) to evaluate the skin color and sex breakdown of HFM used by EM residency programs as well as general simulation centers.
