Performing a "normal" delivery of a baby in the ED setting sure has its challenges, but typically goes without complication. On the other hand, a shoulder dystocia or breech presentation can result in significant morbidity and mortality to both baby and mom if not handled correctly at the point of care. Our workshop emphasizes simple and effective techniques in an intimate, safe, and hands-on setting to successfully deliver a shoulder dystocia or breech presentation in the ED.
