Dr. Navdeep Asi graduated from the University of Toronto in 2010 with a masters in Neurophysiology. He then attended McGill University for his undergraduate dental degree, earning his DMD with distinction. He then attended the AEGD program at the University of Connecticut for 2 years. In the second year of his program he worked with a team at the Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center assisting in the management of patients with head and neck cancers. After the completion of his AEGD, he moved back to Canada working in central Newfoundland as a general dentist, and provided care in the underserviced community of Fogo island. He continued to work with medically compromised and cancer patients at the Janeway Children's Hospital in St. John's, NL Canada. After 4 years of private practice he completed his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and decided to specialize in Endodontics. Dr. Asi is now in the second year of his Endodontic residency at the University of Iowa, serving as chief resident.
