David Holden is the youngest of 5 children and lived in several places growing up. He married Shaela Cluff in 1998 and they are the parents of 3 children. He received his BS in Zoology from Brigham Young University in 1998, his DMD from the University of Florida in 2002, and his certificate in endodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (now UT Health San Antonio) in 2008. Professionally, he worked as a general dentist for four years at Ben Archer Health Center in Hatch, New Mexico. Since residency, he has worked at Westside Endodontic Associates in El Paso, Texas for the past 14 years. Dr. Holden has been a member of the American Association of Endodontists since 2004, having served on the Resident and New Practicioner Committee and as an associate editor for the Journal of Endodontics. He is the current president of the El Paso District Dental Society and has served on the board for several years in varying capacities. He is also an assistant clinical professor at the new Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine in El Paso, Texas.
