Second Year Endodontic Resident
University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry
Lincoln, Nebraska
I was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. I worked for seven years as a general dentist before starting residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
I attended my undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota where I also worked in a basic science research lab in the Oral Biology department with an affiliation at the VA Hospital. At Minnesota, I was involved in two research projects. One looked at HIV binding to keratinocytes and the other involved creating cell lines that expressed varying levels of calprotectin. I did my dental school education at Midwestern University in Arizona where I was involved in two additional research projects. The first using SEM to measure crown to tooth margins of crowns created by dental students in their simulation lab. The second involved a survey sent to dental school administers in an attempt to assess the experience level of dental students.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
