Endodontic Resident
Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center
Schertz, Texas
Andrew Grove, D.M.D was born and raised in Minnesota where he attended Minnesota State University. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he attended Midwestern University – Glendale, AZ for dental school. While attending dental school, Andrew received the HPSP scholarship offered through the USAF. Once completing dental school, he was stationed at Offutt AFB and completed a 1-year AEGD. During that time, he enjoyed performing a wide variety of dental procedures. It was during that time he decided pursuing endodontics would be his next career goal. Andrew was previously stationed at Randolph AFB as a general dentist prior to starting the Wilford Hall endodontic program.
Targeted endodontic microsurgery (TEMS) has demonstrated precise osteotomy sites and angulation depths in anatomically challenging scenarios. Further developing pertinent information on TEMS can provide clinicians with a better understanding on how TEMS could be implemented in their own practice.
