Dr. Mo grew up in Alberta where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry (1996). After volunteering in a church service mission in Australia for two years, he met his now wife and settled in Sydney down under. Following in his father's footsteps, he pursued a career in Dentistry and graduated with honours from renowned Sydney University (2006). Dr. Mo worked and ran a successful practice in the heart of the financial district in Sydney for 8 years until he decided to renew his Canadian roots and pursue his passion for Endodontics at UBC. Recently completing a Master of Craniofacial Science and Diploma in Endodontics and earning Fellowship with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Mo is passionate about education and advances in the field of dentistry. He actively engages in continuing education both as a teacher and a student in endodontics. His other interests include cosmetic and biomimetic dentistry as well as implant dentistry, in which he holds a certificate from UCLA (2010).
