Lohitha Kalluri is a PhD student under Dr. Yuanyuan Duan in Biomedical Materials Science at University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). She earned her bachelor’s degree in dentistry, followed by master’s degree in Prosthodontics and Implantology from India in 2016, and practiced as a clinician and prosthodontist for 3 years in India. She joined UMMC in fall 2019. For the past 2 years, she succeeded her qualifying exam and wrote two first author peer reviewed publications and a book chapter. Also, she won the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Kulzer travel award 2021 for North America Region. Also, she gave poster presentations at School of Dentistry (SOD) research day 2020, 2021 and Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference (SBEC) 2020. She had an abstract accepted for the upcoming International Association for Dental Research (IADR) 2021 and an abstract submitted for the upcoming SBEC conference 2021. Additionally, she co-mentored UPSTART summer dental student and trained a fellow graduate student as well as a dental student.
The AAE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider, a recognized provider in California (#2030), Florida (#PP0049). Programs of the AAE (#214682) are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership credit. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The AAE designates this activity for up to 35.5 continuing education credits.
